One day you are feeling great and the next day you are laying on a hospital bed... sometimes it's hard to believe, but that is exactly what happened to me.
On Monday I had severe abdominal pain, so at night my husband took me to the ER.
My white blood cells count were extremely high indicating some kind of infection, at 5:30 in the morning I got transferred to a regular hospital room. My white blood cells had dropped down, and I was still feeling horrible pain on the right side of my belly, where the appendix is located.
The doctor that was treating me might aswell had been an angel wearing those blue clothes, she decided to hold off on the surgery and watch me for awhile longer, thanks to her I didn't have to get cut and whatever I had my body fought through and I got better.
Those were long 2 days... a full day of not having anything to eat or drink, just in case I had to have surgery.
Yesterday my white blood cells were back to normal and so was my blood pressure (it was low since I got admitted to the hospital).
The doctor said she didn't have all the answers... she said I might had a stone in my appendix and it got ride of it by itself or maybe I had some kind of virus, whatever it was I am happy I had her as a doctor and I am even happier to be back home, laying down on my own bed, and having my dog following me everywhere I go. :o)
I am also grateful for having the husband I have, that stay by my side all the time, supporting and giving me strength. I love you Rob!
I am also happy to have the friends I have that were worried, calling the hospital to receive news. Sandy and Traci, I treasure your friendship so much, thank you! Oh, my boss and co-workers too, thank you all for the beautiful flowers and for being so understanding.
Thank you!
