I was so excited about making a crochet ball with hexagons, until I realized it couldn't be made only with hexagons... I needed some pentagons in between, so I had to take them all apart and come up with a pattern for a pentagon that would match the size of the hexagons I had.
Well, after some time taking them all apart and much more time making the ammount I needed to have the project completed (20 hexagons and 12 pentagons), the crochet ball is ready and I must say I am very pleased with the way it turned out! It's so cheerful, so bright - I can already iamgine myself playing with my little boy, throwing him the soft crochet ball that I made with so much love!
As I promised, here is a picture of vase cozy with the flowers we got yesterday...
And here is the crochet ball...
PS: Sorry, I just now realized the pictures are a little blurry...
Have a wonderful day everyone!
