I mentioned on my last post that I've been gathering recipes and printing them into cards for my 30 meal plan, so now I'll explain it a little better.
First I have to say that this wasn't my idea, I read about it here, I thought it was fabulous though. The concept is very simple, you pick 30 recipes that you and your family love, print them out and stick them in a little magnetic box on your refrigerator's door.
Once you have 30 meals, you can make a master grocery list which will allow you to buy the ingredients at a good price, and besides that it will make your life much easier because you won't have to go crazy trying to figure out what to cook for dinner every night!
You're a real neat gal, Alessandra, right down to your recipe cards. :-) Thanks for the idea. It does sound like a real time-saver, especially when it means you can spend more quality time with your family.
ReplyDeletewhat a great idea. sure wish i was this organized. seriously, i do.
ReplyDeletehappy tuesday!

Ohla Sandra:
ReplyDeleteYes, I don't remember what magazine but I have seen this idea before and I believe it is a great one especially for persons with children.
I love the little decorative recipies cards that you made they are so cute.
Well I am working on building new recipes due to the fact that I have food intolerance and allergies, no I couldn't have one I have to have both...! I love a challenge and finding new recipes and learn more about what we should not be putting in our bodies has been so interesting and fun and now it will be even more enjoyable to make decorative recipies cards. I do have scarpbooking supplies a hobbie I tried but just wasn't that into.
Thanks for sharing.
This is great! We are always complaining when it comes to going to the store. This will help alot. :) Your cards are too cute.
