Yes - that is what's happening with this week: flying by... I don't even think that the "long" weekend was long at all, it also went by too fast.
We had a visit from the family that I lived with when I first came to the US, it was very nice to see them, and it's a shame we don't see each other more often - they live about 1 hour North from me, which isn't that bad, but you know how life is.
Yesterday I made curtains for the baby's room - I'll take pictures later when the sun isn't coming through the window and making it too dark. I decided to make curtains because the baby wakes up as soon as his room is bright, which happens around 4:30 or 5 in the morning, and I'm sorry but at that time of the day I'm still trying to get some sleep! Oh, if you only knew how much I'm looking forward to the day he sleeps for at least 5 hours straight... LOL
Also yesterday I finished the round t-shirt rug (I got more t-shirts at the thrift shop on Monday at 50% off) and started a rectangular one, which I'm delighted to say I finished it this morning. They are both listed on my etsy shop now.
Well, and besides the rugs and the curtains, I'm working on a black messenger bag and writing a pattern for the "Love you forever"wreath.
Now, I have to mention that I still do laundry, cook, do the usual house cleaning, take my little guy for a walk every day, and take care of my hubby... no kidding I'm exhausted, but I must add that even tired, I am extremely happy.
Life is great!
You seem to be in such a great routine. You are making it happen. Proud of you. You are such a wonderful mommy and wife.
ReplyDeleteI'm happy to call you my friend!
XOXO
Sandra the rugs are fantastic! I could see those rugs in my Vermont cabin (the one I dream about that is). Yes, sleep is essential and even more so at 4:30am. I can't wait to see the curtains. It is very hard to take a picture in my house due to the sunlight and it is the reason why I am always slow to post pictures of my finish projects.
ReplyDeleteTime flies when you're having fun! I'm glad you're enjoying being a SAHM.
ReplyDeleteGlad things are working out so well! Are you going back to work or staying home? I wish I could work PT - that would be ideal.
