Just Be Happy

Thursday, May 7, 2009

I was going to complain about the weather, I had hoped for warm and sunny days this week, but instead it has been cold, windy and rainy, but then I realized that I shouldn't complain about anything, what I need to do is to be thankful for what I have.

So, here are just a few of the things I'm grateful for:

- my healthy family
- a loving husband, who is more than just a husband, he is my partner on everything!
- my beautiful baby
- being able to be a stay at home mom and raise my beautiful baby boy
- my husband's stable job
- a comfortable home
- beautiful blooming trees
- my creative outlets (they keep me sane!)
- yummy dinners at home with my hubby
- internet that allows me to talk and see my family even from so far away
- kindness of my blog friends

What are you thankful for?

** this is where I'm at with my t-shirt kitchen rug.

  1. Attitude of Gratitude...!

I am very impressed with the t-shirt rug.

I don't like when it rains but the rain really got my garden growing/blooming..it looks wonderful.

  2. Nice post. I too need to take the time to smell the roses - I'm grateful for: hubby and I with 2 'secure' jobs...a beautiful, happy, fun daughter.....a healthy extended family....my peonies....morning coffee and blog-time. happy friday!!

  3. I love your gratitude list ...it is so important to look at the positives in life!
thank you so much for your prayers for our sister....
    Happy Mothers Day to you.

  4. Pacific Northwest sunshine
    A job for me
    A job for husband
Art that inspires me every day
    Black olive hummus

Alessandra is one of my favorite names ever.

  5. that is a great gratitude list...sometimes it just feels good to write 'em down!

love your blog...can't wait to come back.

  6. I appreciate you too, your rug is going to be so cool. I enjoy the rain, it helps create a subtle slowness to all the business. I am grateful to my family, and the people in my life, and nature's beauty.
