Yesterday morning was the first time my husband and I went out together without baby Lucas. Yes, I know we should be getting out more often, but it's not so easy to get my mother-in-law (she's a busy lady) to watch him and we really don't have anyone else to help out.
Anyhow, we went bowling in the morning, when it's calm at the alley and it was lots of fun! Although I have my own bowling ball and shoes (I just can't bring myself to use the rental shoes, the thought of getting other people's fungus or something else just creeps me out!), I'm terrible at bowling, I just bowl for fun, I don't care what my score is, if I did, I would be upset... :o)

Also yesterday, I made the pepperoni bread again, this time it turned out even better than the first time since I added a can of black olives to the filling.
On the crochet department things have been slow... I am working on a black brimmed hat for my West Virginia friend, she liked the ones I sent her, so she ordered this one for herself. I don't have any pictures of it at the moment, but I'll share them with you guys once I take them.
Happy week!
How fun. I'm also not very good but bowling is FUN!
ReplyDeleteBetcha Lucas did great without you. He loves his one on one time with his Grandma :)

I love bowling it is so much fun, and good for you getting out, we try for free babysitting too.
ReplyDeleteYou know, I've never been bowling before. I'm glad you and the hubby were able to get out. If I were closer I would definitely babysit!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week, and again, thanks for the yarn. :-D
It is so good for you to get out! I too am a terrible bowler! Crochet and knitting are more my "alley"! LOL...hey I made a joke!
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog through SwapDex. I love it. I signed up for your yarn swap. The bag you made is fabulous. I just crocheted a vintage satchel. There are pictures on my blog. Can't wait to visit again. The rugs made out of t-shirts are wonderful.

Glad to hear you had fun! I'm the same way with bowling when it comes to my score. Don't look! :)
ReplyDeleteCrocheting has been slow here too!
Have a great day!

I'm really bad at bowling, only been once and not planning to go again. I prefer playing bowls at home with the Nintendo Wii -the ball isn't heavy! lol.
ReplyDeleteGlad to know you had a good time :-)
Getting out without kiddos is hard to do. Im glad you all found something fun to do with your time!
ReplyDeleteBTW...as far as the swap goes Im not picky, cotton maybe??
