I have been doing some computer work for my mother-in-law, she has a costume shop and she needed someone to update her costume albums, update her website and some other little things like that and since I have done work for her before and knew how everything works, she offered me to go there a couple of times a week. I go, stay for at most one hour, Lucas goes with me and when I can I bring stuff to do from home, which is much easier. This little job came in a really good time, it's not a lot of money, but anything helps!
Also, I have been crocheting as much as I can to list new items to my etsy shop, I made a patchwork scarf and have another one in progress.

The other day I e-mailed the lady that was my host mom when I first came to the US and asked her to give me the name of a cooking book that she had, I remember looking at that book when I lived with their family and always liked the way the food was decorated for children, and since I had Lucas I wanted to have one just like that. Well, she sent the book to me, it was such a nice surprise when the mail arrived today and I received that darling book, I guess I am a blessed person for having such nice people in my life.
Cheers!
I'm glad things are working out for you and you're able to still do such lovely projects. I think you're going to enjoy that cookbook and the little food treats for Lucas.
ReplyDeletewhat have I been doing? Staying up way to late and crocheting. I spent the last few hours teaching myself how to crochet Tunisian Entrelac I believe it is Irish crochet. Lorena made a few blankets using the entrelac crochet and I love them...thus far I have about 7 or 8 inches done..lol...but I really like it. I will scan pattern and email it too you soon. Have to get the hubbie to scan it first. Tomorrow we are off to San Antonio, Texas the Riverwalk. Tom goes back to work on the 14th so we have to get a few fun things in this weekend.
ReplyDeleteYour huband and Lucas are very lucky to have you and the rust shawl came out great. ttys
Wonderful stuff! Sounds like you've been keeping very busy. I like your ruffle neck warmer. I've been trying to finish some of my many half done projects and haven't listed anything in my artfire.com shop for quite some time. I should work on some things.
