Just Be Happy

Hello my friends!

First I would like to apologize for not blogging very often lately, but I have been really pressed with time. I received a custom order for 28 neckwarmers (which I am really happy about) and I have been using every little spare minute that I have trying to fulfill it. So far I have made 13 neckwarmers, 12 of them were black, so I would say that the hardest part is done! LOL

I also have found a nice etsy seller that agreed to do a trade with me, she is going to make rubber ducky soaps for me to give as party favors, and I will send her a couple of neckwarmers - which I still have one to make! I know, I know, call me funny, call me weird... but I already have Lucas' first birthday party planned (in my head! LOL). I've decided that the theme will be rubber ducky, so I went ahead and bought ducky cup cake toppers and now will do the trade I just mentioned. Well, I figured that if I start planning it now, we won't have to spend a lot of money when time comes, so that's that.
Oh boy, I have so many crochet projects to show you guys, things that I made before I started with the neckwarmers. I promise I'll take pictures of them to show you soon. Most of the projects are scarves that I made to have them displayed at my mother-in-law's booth at the fair next month, I really need to find time to build inventory for that, but I am confident I will be able to do that.

Another thing, I entered my upcycled crochet rug to the EstyHookers Team Challenge, so I would really appreciate if you could pop over there and vote for me! Just click here. Thank you in advance!

Have an awesome week everyone!

  1. 28 neckwarmers is a lot of work! Not counting the couple you traded for the duckies! I confess I was a little worried not hearing of you but am glad to know you are super busy. I wish you many busy days!

By the way, the EtsyHookers page is empty, what are we supposed to do?

  4. What a busy bee you have been, was starting to get a little worried about you. 28 neckwarmers, wow, that's a lot of work, but good for business too. Is it helping with the diet too, after all it must be hard to eat whilst crocheting every spare minute!! Dev x
