Just Be Happy

Cheryle, a friend of mine, has a nephew that has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) and she's helping Duchenne Research Education And Miracles (DREAM) raise money for a fund that goes toward research for a cure to the disease. DREAM is having an auction on September 18 at the Greater Tacoma Convention and Trade Center and I am donating this little kit (baby blanket, hat and stuffed animal) and if you want, you can help too. You can send your donations to DREAM Auction, PMB#128, 2110 Judson Street, Gig Harbor, WA 98335. All gifts are tax deductible and you will receive a letter for tax purposes. For further inquiry, please call (253) 851-0011.
I've been busy! I am made this hat for a friend that is expecting a little girl, I am also making an octopus using the same yarn. Her baby shower is next month and I'm hoping she'll like the handmade gifts!
Ohhhhh... and last but not least... a great amount of colorful baby hats. These are so fun to make that I got carried away! heheheh

It's a sunny Sunday here, I feel so happy. The last few days were raining, gray and I was so down, it was no fun. Today everything is so bright and muc h happier. This morning I was able to crochet a little bit, then went out for coffee with a friend and our little ones, and this afternoon hubby and I are taking Lucas to the zoo.
Happy Sunday!!!

  2. I am sure the little set will get a pretty penny for the fund raising event. Crossing my fingers for a great "turn out".

Love the hats you made. The colors are awesome! And the little one for your friend is so girly. The octopus will look great along with it.

Here's to a FAB time at the zoo!
