Just Be Happy

Saturday, March 27, 2010

The grumpy mood is gone, thankfully. It went away just in time, a great weekend has started and I have been enjoying every minute of it with my family!

Yesterday morning I went with Lucas to a new tea place in town, called "Green Spot" to meet with a friend, we had a wonderful time sipping on our teas and in my case, tasting a yummy raspberry and white chocolate scone. At night we went out for dinner to celebrate my father-in-law's birthday and after we got home and put Lucas to bed, we watched Twilight - The New Moon.

This morning, we went to our local zoo, it was such a splendid day out, even the polar bears were playing...

The peacock was showing his beautiful feathers...

And here are a few other things that make me happy. One of them is my bird house, I can see it when I am driving down the street, and I immediately start smiling. :O)

My newest finished project, it's a very soft scarf. I know that the scarf season is pretty much over, at least for us here, but last night I started thinking about all the pink yarn that I had and decided to combine them all, I used 6 strands to knit this scarf and I absolutely love it!

I also like a nice and cold glass of sparkling water! Well, specially if I drink it in my new Fiestaware glasses!!! I am so stocked that I finally got these, the glasses I had before were falling apart, and I was eyeballing these ones for years. LOL

And last, but certainly not least, the blooming apple trees in my back yard, it's sure nice to look at them!

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!
