Just Be Happy

After I finished the girly blanket, I thought to myself that I should make a boyish one, too. So, this morning I went to the store and got some beautiful turquoise yarn, and since I didn't go to my zumba class, the crochet work has already begun!
Last night I finished reading "Knit Two" by Kate Jacobs, I was reading and trying to distract myself from the horrible stomach pain I was having, it was a really tough night, ended up making several trips to the bathroom to puke, so today I feel sore and tired, that's why there was no zumba for me, I thought I ought to rest. My little man isn't feeling too good either, he has a fever, it goes down with tylenol, but as soon as it runs out of his body, the temperature goes back up, I sure hope he doesn't get whatever I had last night. :o(
Anyhow, here is a picture of my work in progress and the book I just started reading "Eat Pray Love" by Elizabeth Gilbert, so far so good.

This post is also meant to thank Christi for giving me the Kreativ Blog Award, thank you so much! Christi is a Pacific Northwest artist that has been doing a wonderful job living green and recycling, check out her blog if you have a chance.

The rules of this award are to list 7 things you probably don't know about me and then to pass it to 7 kreativ bloggers. So here is my list:

1. I love gift cards, I know some people think that they are not very personable, but I really enjoy going to the store to shop guilty free.

2. My favorite stores are: World Market, JoAnn Fabrics & Michaels.

3. My dream is to have my crochet work published and I've been researching ways to make it come true.

4. I love going to the theatre to watch musicals, one of my favorite ones is "Cabaret".

5. So far, I have recycled over 700 grocery bags, all of them became crocheted tote bags.

6. The first time I saw snow in my life, I was 23 years old.

7. Before crochet, I used to paint, I still have lots of frames that I need to bring to the US back from Brazil.

Now, here are the 7 blogger friends that I would love to learn more about:

1. Heather at The Pine Cone Tea Cup
2. Libby at My Krafty Kreations
3. Gloria at The Antedotes of a Hooker
4. Alhana at Cajón desastre
5. CT at A stitch in time, a day at a time
6. Ashley at Knots by Ashley
7. Gween at Gweengoods

Cheers!
