Just Be Happy

Hi there!

My work in progress is coming along quite nicely, I have been enjoying working on it very much, all the colorful yarn really makes me happy and excited. Well, I also wanted to share the book that I started reading "The Friday Night Knitting Club" by Kate Jacobs, I just in the beginning, but I'm enjoying it very much.

Ohhh... also wanted to show you the little silicone cupcake bear "pans" that I bought. Aren't they darling? I made chocolate cupcake this morning to offer to the moms that attended the playdough play date that I hosted.

Yes... I know I am funny, I come up with silly ideas all the time... heheheh. I asked each mom (there were 7 of us) to bring a batch of homemade kool-aid playdough (it smells wonderful!), and then I divided each batch and we all had different colors of playdough. In the afternoon, Lucas and I had fun playing with it!

Hey guys, I have a question. I was thinking about hosting another yarn swap. Are you interested?

  3. The playdough looks good. Love fresh playdough. Never heard of Kool-aid being used (not that we have it here in Australia). I'm not sure I'd want to encourage kids to eat it more than they already try though by making it smell nice.
I love your playdate ideas too. They sound quite fun.
A yarn swap sounds fun but would you do it overseas?

  4. I think the playdough was a fantastic idea and great for their motor skills and the cup cakes are adorable. Your afghan is coming out beautiful and as for the yarn swap I am interested. If you decided to do the swamp post it and I will link it to my page as well.
