Just Be Happy

Yesterday was full day, lots and lots of errands to run. Got up early, got my cup of coffee, took care of Lucas, cleaned the house and left it ready for the playdate that was scheduled to start to t:30, then off we went to get gas (Boy, I am happy we made it to the gas station, it was beyond empty! LOL), then to the grocery store to pick up a few things and came back home to receive 8 moms and their kids for our play date. I made lemon bars to offer them, mmmmm... yum!

We made these cute Spring inspired fridge magnets, I think they are cute! I cut out a circle from the flower "foam" and added a couple of buttons with a hot glue gun, then a couple of pieces of magnetic tape went on the back. That's it!
After they left it was time for Lucas' nap, while he slept I ate my lunch and did a couple of loads of laundry and put everything away, I also read a couple of chapters of "The Friday Night Knitting Club" which I am really enjoying.
As soon as he got up, I took care of his needs again and once again off we were to run errands. We went to the store to pick up this:
They are fridge magnet toys, the theme is transportation, it plays lots of music and keeps Lucas really busy in the kitchen while I am cooking, instead of being between my legs. I loooove it! Every mom should get one, so they can cook in piece! LOL
Then we went to the bank(Well, had to go to 2 of them... yuck!) and to another store to try to find a pair of shoes for my brother, with no sucess, by that time Lucas was ready to come back home and have dinner, so we came back home for him to eat, then it was time to cook dinner for me and my husband, clean the kitchen, play with Lucas a little more, read to him, put him to bed, watch TV and cuddle with my husband, zzzzzzz.....
Life is good!
