So, we are still sick, coughing and all, but a little bit better than yesterday - thank goodness, because we had a big day planned for today and it'd a shame to cancel all the fun.
To start let me show you what me and the little man and I have been working on for the last few days. It's a long sleeve tee shirt that we have been coloring with fabric crayons. Once we have a lot surface area covered, we will be done and my little man will have a one of a kind tee shirt made by him. Isn't this a cute idea?

This picture is Dale Chihuly's work, he is a local artist, but very famous, he's work is all over the world, but many people know him because of his work at the Bellagio hotel in Las Vegas. The colors are really stunning, I don't ever get tired of looking at his pieces, I feel so lucky to have such beautiful things to look at *free*!
My little guy had a blast running around and checking out the Chihuly's glass art.
This is the "art" we had in our living room, I thought it was such a colorful mess that I had to take a picture before I cleaned it up.
Oh wow, Chihuly's glass art has been on exhibit here in Nashville. I came across it as I was visiting a couture exhibit. His work is stunning.
ReplyDeleteSee, Ale, that's what I like about you. Even when you guys are sick, you have such amazing fun! The glass is beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteOh wow! what a great exhibition!!! I'm glad you took those cool photos!
ReplyDeleteMy own love anything Cirque Du Soleil! I bet you had a great time!
The glass is beautiful, even when it's gray out. Glad to hear you are feeling better.
ReplyDeleteWe are trying to decide if we want to go to Alegria in Nov. here. The tickets are more expensive than the last show we went to see. I'm still thinking on it. I'm trying to justify the $100 bucks a pop for the 5 of us. Yikes!
