Cuteness

How was your Easter? We had a wonderful Sunday, it was sprinkling in the morning but that didn't stop us from have an Easter egg hunt in our backyard and I am glad it didn't because we had such a wonderful time watching L hunt for eggs, it was just too cute. In the afternoon we went over to my husband's uncle's house for dinner, it was so nice to have some family time and the food was super yummy, too! At night I called my family in Brazil and we got to chat for awhile, I miss them so much, holidays are specially hard, but I am so glad for the Internet, it sure makes life easier.

Talking about cuteness, here are a couple of picture of a friend's little baby boy, wearing a couple hats made by me. The pictures were taking by my friend Carolyn Kipper - she's sure very talented.

This first hat is a "chin strap hat" and I made it with glorious Japanese Noro yarn, so soft and beautiful. I'm in love with that yarn!

And this one, as you can tell, is an owl hat, I made it specially for him, I thought the colors would match his beautiful blue eyes. What a sweetie he is!
