There are some days that I just don't feel like cooking, but I don't feel like going anywhere to pick up food either. Do you you feel like that sometimes too?
Well, when it's warm out and I don't feel like cooking, one of the things that I end up making is turkey wraps, so simple and yet tasty. After several experiments, we came up with our own turkey wrap recipe.
- whole wheat flower tortillas
- mayo
- a few leaves of lettuce
- a couple of slices swiss cheese for each wrap
- a few slices of deli turkey
- 1 small carrot (I just shave it with a veggie peeler, that way they are really thin, but you can shred it, too)
- bean sprouts (if I have them)- mayo
- a few leaves of lettuce
- a couple of slices swiss cheese for each wrap
- a few slices of deli turkey
- 1 small carrot (I just shave it with a veggie peeler, that way they are really thin, but you can shred it, too)
- a drizzel of olive oil, salt, pepper and dry dill to taste
After I lay all the ingredients in the tortilla and wrap the tortilla, I like to add a bow with cotton yarn to keep it in place until it's served and it also helps the little man eat and make less of a mess.
I hope you enjoy!
That looks delicious and healthy! Will give that a try very soon!
