I am getting there, see my big bump? I took this picture today, even though I am at almost 33 weeks. Very excited to be in my 3rd trimester, it feels to me I am getting close to the finishing line - yay!
Even though I am super excited, I have also been a very big complainer. Getting close to the end of a pregnancy also means that I am uncomfortable to sleep, that I have awful heartburn and with this baby I am having trouble with my right leg and foot. The baby is sitting on my sciatic nerve and it's making me feel like old, complaining every time I put my right foot on the ground.
The good news is that I went to my doctor's appointment today and got a referral to go to physical therapy to get myself back to normal. She promises I will feel like new again, so I am very much looking forward to my appointment next week.
I follow some pregnancy websites that have a week-by-week descriptions of what momma feels, what is the baby looking like, so at 32 weeks it says: Your baby is the size of a squash. Still growing, your baby weighs in at about 2.5 to 3.8 pounds and measures about 15.2 to 16.7 inches. (size of a squash? I have a pumpkin cooking for Halloween! LOL)
I've also been completely uninspired to cook. I have neither the energy nor the taste for anything - other than cocoa pebbles (LOL). I feel so bad for my poor husband and kid. They’re not starving, but they’re not eating too great, either. Oh well.. I hope this is just a phase that will pass soon and I will get my mojo back.
Well, I better go work on some crochet orders. Cheers!
I think it's better to eat Cocoa Pebbles than not to be able to/or feel like crocheting. Could you imagine the horror? lol

My Seth was on my sciatic nerve too and I know it was NOT good! Hope you get to feeling good as new! I know you are so excited to meet the new little one!

I agree with Libby. lol
ReplyDeleteYour little pumpkin must love those Cocoa Pebbles!
It is very uncomfortable in the last stages, isn't it? Don't beat yourself up about not eating too well- in the grand scheme of things it isn't such a big deal and it is hard to cook when you feel really tired. You are on the home straight now!!!
