When I was a kid, I wasn't good at making paper airplanes, but I loved making paper boats and put them to float on the water. I know that there must be a million instructions of how to fold paper boats on the internet, but I decided to write mine anyways.
All you need is a piece of paper, I used regular printing paper and my little advice is for you to color at least the bottom of the boats with crayon, the wax of the crayon will protect the boat from soaking up the water so fast.
So here is the printing paper, with some of the little man's art work *wink*. You fold that in half.
After that you bring the corners down the center of the paper and flatten them.
You now have a triangle and two flaps (front and back) at the bottom. Bring the first flap up and fold it, turn the piece and fold the back flap, too.
Fold the 4 little corners. At this point if you fold it in half, you will have a paper hat!
This is what I consider the most important and you have to be really gentle, but fold up the bottom to form the boat shape and then make a crease.
VoilĂ !
I hope the instructions were helpful. Have fun!
