Today I decided that I was going to leave my diet for tomorrow and we were going to have pizza for dinner - homemade pizza that is. I searched the web for a pizza dough recipe and went for it.
I used this recipe, but instead of regular flour I substituted it for whole grain, because that's the only kinda I have/use, I had to add almost a cup more than what the recipe called, but other than that it worked great.
My husband said it was a pizza parlor, I had all the ingredients in little bowls set on the table and each of us had a cookie sheet with the dough. Unfortunately I didn't have a chance to take more pictures of us making our pizzas because I was busy feeding a very hungry little girl.
This was my pizza: ranch, chicken, mozzarella cheese, olives, green onions, salt and pepper.
This was the little man's pizza: ranch, chicken, pepperoni, mozzarella and cheddar cheese, olives and green onions.
And this was my husband's pizza: red pizza sauce, mozzarella and cheddar cheeses, olives and green onions.
It was fun, everybody had a good time making their own and we had fun trying each other's pizzas, too.
