Almost a year ago (August 1, 2012) I blogged about drawing vases for my son and glueing buttons to make flowers, yesterday for some reason I felt the need to make some cards and I wanted to use crochet flowers.
I decided to use Red Heart Anne Geddes baby yarn (3 weight and a 3.75mm crochet hook) because it's lighter than the regular worsted weight that I usually use for my projects and it makes the flower less bulky for the card.
There are tons of free crochet flower patterns on the web. I also have one free flower pattern that you can find on my free pattern session on the right column of this blog.
I used a hot glue gun to adhere the crochet flower to the card, fast for my non-patient self.
Ta-dah!
