4th of July is just around the corner, so I felt the urge to make a little something to spruce up our table and make it more festive, so what did I make? Some red, white and blue coasters! AND I am posting the pattern FREE so you can make some, too!

Supplies:
- Worsted Weight Yarn
- Crochet Hook US Size I (5.5mm)
Abbreviations:
CH = chain
DC = Double Crochet
Sk = Skip
Sl st = Slip Stitch
Rnd = Round
Gauge is not crucial for this project - yay!
Make a magic ring.
Rnd 1: CH 2 (count as first DC) and DC 10 into the ring, join. (11 DC)
Rnd 2: CH 4 (count as first DC and CH2), *DC into the next st, CH 2; repeat from * around. Join.(11 DC and 11 Ch2 in between)
Rnd 2: CH 4 (count as first DC and CH2), *DC into the next st, CH 2; repeat from * around. Join.(11 DC and 11 Ch2 in between)
Rnd 3: CH 2, 2DC in CH-2 space, *DC in DC, 2DC in CH-2 space; repeat from * around. Join. (33DC)
Rnd 4: Sk 1st, 5 DC in the next st, sk 1 st, sl st into the next (you just made a shell). Repeat 7 times. (8 shells made)
Fasten off and weave in ends.
