Making Candy - Brazilian Style

Today I decided to make Brigadeiro, a very decadent Brazilian candy and it happens to be very easy to make. You know I love easy, right?

Here are the 4 ingredients you will need:

- Condensed Milk

- 4 tablespoons of chocolate milk powder (I used Nesquik):

- 1 tablespoon of butter OR margarine:

- Sprinkles:

And here is how you make it:

Put the condensed milk, butter and chocolate powder in a pot (preferable non-stick!) and stir constantly with a wooden spoon over medium heat.

I have an electric stove and it took me 15 minutes of stirring to get to this point. My mom used to say that the brigadeiro is ready when you can see the bottom of the pot.

Let it cool down completely. I left my pot resting for about 1 hour.

Put your sprinkles in a bowl, slap some butter on your hands (LOL) and take a teaspoon full of your cooled brigadeiro mix and make little balls.

Coat your balls with the sprinkles and voilĂ !

Traditionally we will serve the brigadeiros in mini liners (like cupcake liners), but since I didn't have any I just ate them all - just kidding, or not.
