Crochet Spiderweb {Free Pattern}

Crochet Spiderweb

Skill Level:

Supplies:
- Crochet Hook US Size I/ 5.5mm
- Scissors
- White Worsted Weight Yarn (I used Impeccable by Loops & Threads)

Abbreviations:
Ch = Chain
DC = Double Crochet

Notes:
You will make a ch 3 to begin each round and that counts as the first dc of each round.
Join each round with a slip stitch.

Start with a magic ring.
Round 1: 1 DC, Ch 2 - 6 times, join.
Round 2: 1 DC, Ch 4 - 6 times, join.
Round 3: 1 DC, Ch 6 - 6 times, join.
Round 4: 1 DC, Ch 8 - 6 times, join.
Round 5: 1 DC, Ch 10 - 6 times, join.
Round 6: 1 DC, Ch 13 - 6 times, join.
Round 7: 1 DC, Ch 16 - 6 times, join.
Round 8: 1 DC, Ch 19 - 6 times, join.
Fasten off.

Your spiderweb might look a little wonky right now, but it will look great once you set it up.

Add a long piece of yarn to each "post" you created and you are ready to decorate!

Cool idea: Make it with glow in the dark yarn for a cool night effect!

  1. Thanks for posting this pattern! I made this spiderweb and used it to attach a plush Spiderman to a gift.

    The present was a lego Spiderman set wrapped in Spiderman paper. Then I put the plush toy on top of the package and taped the spiderweb over him. It turned out darling. I pinned a picture of it with a link to your page. Thanks again!
