Well, I can finally show you the pictures of the design I created for this round of Design Wars. I am still working on the pattern, so I can't say that my work is over yet, but I am glad that the design itself is done and I must say, I am so proud of it!
I am so proud to be part of such a talented group of ladies and I think everyone did a wonderful job with their designs. I am so curious to see who will win in each category.
So, what do you think??Let me tell you about it a little... hehehe. My idea was to make a little reading corner mobile and pillow, I always see mobiles in nurseries, but I wanted to make something that would work for older kids, too.
All the elements are education related and here is what they represent:
Book Worm: One who spends much time reading or studying.
Apple: The apple has been associated with education for centuries, thanks to the story of Adam and Eve. The Tree of Knowledge's frequent depiction as an apple tree was not lost of religious disciple who began to consider the fruit a powerful symbol of information.
Owl: Symbolizes intelligence, brilliance, wisdom, power and knowledge. It’s often used as a symbol of educations and it’s commonly used as a graduation mascot.
Pencils: A pencil represents potential, considering all of the things that can be drawn or written with it.
