Gah! How come I have been feeling like the time is going by too fast lately? Am I just getting old? Am I just too busy? I don't know the answer, perhaps all the above… but here I am, taking a little break, I just ate a piece of chocolate cake that the little man and I made together from scratch, it was delicious and it went perfectly with my cup of coffee.
Anyhow, here are some highlights of our lives lately:
My sweet pea looking at an art piece at the Hotel Murano in downtown Tacoma last week when we quickly visited the Madrona Fiber.
At the fish market - the kids were having a good time looking at the sea creatures while we were waiting for our order of clam and salmon chowder.
Watching the sharks at Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium. It was a very cold day, we walked around the zoo a little bit and then warmed up inside of the aquarium. Cold is not an excuse for staying inside of the house, right?
This weekend we went to the Georgetown neighborhood in Seattle to see the big cowboy hat and boots. It was 37 degrees, raining and the kids wanted to run back to the car quickly, but we were able to get a phew pictures and make some fun memories.
Now I am going to make dinner and hopefully later I can finish making my sweet pea's Easter basket. Yesterday I made two bunnies, one for each kid to give them for Easter. I am planning ahead this year, compared to how I usually am and I am excited that we will have a handmade (for the most part) Easter. I can't wait to show you pictures!
