So the kids and I have a craft / playroom (the laundry closet is also there, but lets just forget about that part… LOL) and we love it!
Until yesterday, the fireplace was a brown, which made the room look so old and dark, but I decided to go ahead and paint it and I am so glad I did, I love the white so much that today I was excited to create some art work with the kids to put above it.
We went to Michael's and bought the supplies, the kids helped painting the little canvases and did all the glitter and mounting part. You can find the directions for the glitter animal canvases here.
I also bought some very inexpensive frames, painted them and my lovely husband hung everything on the wall for us.
I also have a yarn cubby now and I am giddy to every time I look at it and see all the gorgeous colors.
And here is my "office" area...
I finally bought frames to hang the pictures of the kids wearing chef outfits above their little kitchen.
Now I "just" need to organize all the tubs of craft and office supplies and toys I have… but with that organized or not, I am a happy camper!

ReplyDeleteOh that look completely divine! I looove the yarn cubby and with those awesome chairs underneath it....you must want to sit down and knit/crochet whenever you see it. Very stylish and fun that the kids got to take part in it too.
