Squishy Balls
Today (and yesterday) my son stayed home from school. He has croup and is staying home like the doctor advised. I love having them home, but I don't like them begging to use electronic, so I had to visit my Pinterest board and find one of the pins of things to keep the kids occupied. This one was saved for Summer time, but we decided to go for it in the garage.
We made 10 squishy balls, then we watched a video from youtube that was teaching the kids how to juggle. They spent a great time trying to learn, it was cute!
If you'd like to make some of these, you can find all the information here.
Cheers!

My daughter use to get croup every year and nearly died from it at age 1. Most parents don't understand how dangerous croup can be it's a horrible thing for kids to fight off. I hope your son is better now. I use to boil water and put it in a cool bowl then sit with her and it under a blanket. We also did a lot of steam showers/baths. When she got older tea with lemon and honey helped. When she was 3 she finally diagnosed with asthma induced by upper respiratory infections. Just thought I'd share some ideas that helped my baby and she grew out of getting croup by age 11.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Mandy! I've started using a humidifier in his room which has helped tons. He is not 100% yet, but he's slowly getting better.
DeleteI appreciate your insight, thank you so much for taking the time to comment.
