Longest Marathon Crocheting

Hi there, long time no see!
I totally vanished from here, just gotta say 2020 was my best blogging year... I suppose with all the craziness going on around, I didn't feel like putting the pressure on myself to blog, which is silly because blogging should be just fun.
Anyhow, things are good.
My son is going to start 7th grade this Fall, he is going to be a teenager next year, my mind feels like it is going to explode every time I say those words out loud! He is really serious into Boy Scouts (he is 2nd class scout, for those of you that know the ranks) and he is doing sailing camps and practicing Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
My daughter is going to start 4th grade, she is doing piano, ballet and girls scouts, but begging me to sign her up for gymnastics. We shall see.... our problem is simply finding enough time... LOL
What else is new??
Well, well, here is the fun news: I am a Guinness World Record holder for the Longest Marathon Crocheting!
Over Memorial day weekend, I crocheted for 34 hours and 7 minutes, had 18 people come in shifts of 2 people/ every 4 hours to witness it. It was an amazing experience to see what you can accomplish when you set your mind to something, because your body just follows.
I made one whole blanket and a shawl during the attempt, the blanket will be donating to my kids' school for their annual auction next year. I also hope to make a pattern for the design I created for the blanket, so that will be my launch back into pattern writing!

Here is the Guinness World Records link.
